Description
Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and has become the representative of Italian design in the world. Eclisse represents the perfect balance between form and function, design and utility. The intensity of the light can be adjusted through its internal lampshade which "eclipses" the light source as it is a rotating element. In fact, with a fixed external casing and a movable internal casing, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light. It has a painted metal body available in the following colors: white, red or orange with ON / OFF switch. Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the MoMA in New York and the Milan Triennale.
