Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and has become the representative of Italian design in the world. Balance between form and function: what makes this lamp so unique is the light intensity adjustment mechanism. Its internal lampshade is rotating and "eclipses" the light source, hence the name of the lamp. With a fixed outer shell and a movable inner shell, Eclisse provides direct and indirect light. The lamp can also be mounted on the wall.
Eclisse PVD is the new version, available in different metallic finishes. They are made with an innovative and sustainable painting process, with a vacuum deposition of metal. The available paints are: black, gold, copper or chrome.
