In the Parola table lamp, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni in 1980, three different types and processes of glass coexist in a single object: blown, natural and natural crystal. The lamp represents an exemplary model of technical integration between craftsmanship and industry. The light emitted is diffused and, thanks to the included dimmer, it is possible to adjust the light intensity. The frame is made of borosilicate glass, while the diffuser is in glossy blown glass, colored in the paste. The base, on the other hand, is made of cut transparent glass.
