Description
In the Parolona floor lamp, designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni in 1980, three different types and processes of glass coexist in a single object: blown, natural and natural crystal. It represents an exemplary model of technical integration between craftsmanship and industry. The light emitted is diffused and dimmable with the sliding floor switch. The frame is made of borosilicate glass with the base in chromed metal. The diffuser is in glossy blown glass while the base is made of transparent ground glass.
