Suspension lamp with diffused light. The internal structure is in painted steel. The diffuser is instead made using the Cocoon technique, sprayed on the structure, with transparent protection, made at the end of the process.
“It is almost impossible to conceive the space that exists around two perpendicular flat surfaces. Overlap consists of two rings intersected at right angles. When I saw the Cocoon cladding technique used by Flos to create so many historical objects, I realized it was the perfect opportunity to define this space. In this object it is fascinating to see the two rings push on the membranes. And yet what remains hidden and indefinite is the space in which they intersect, which leaves the task of completing their geometry to the imagination. " -M. Anastassiades
