Pinecone is a suspension lamp characterized by a diffuser produced using the ancient caged blown glass technique: the glass master blows the glass bubble into his mouth inside a metal cage. The final artifact is partly held by the cage and partly escapes it, creating a play of tension that generates an object suspended in the act of escaping from the bond that is the cage. The cage is further treated, making it even more shiny and shiny. The transparent version, in particular, allows for a scenographic effect, as the weave projects a kaleidoscopic play of shadows onto the surrounding surfaces. On the contrary, the white version delicately follows the cage and generates a pleasant diffused light. It is possible, through a dimming system, to adjust the light intensity. It is a highly suggestive luminaire with a strong impact both when switched off and on.
